Protecting the privacy of our guests is an important core value in the service provision of Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland. We handle the personal data provided to us with integrity, transparency and care. Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland processes information about people on a daily basis and complies with the law. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland processes, and for what purposes. This privacy statement also applies to all hotels, restaurants and events that fall under the responsibility of Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland. 2. Personal data we process

Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

Booking and whereabouts details
By booking an overnight stay or event in one of our accommodations, making a table reservation or renting one of our meeting rooms, you are entering into an agreement with Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland. For this, the hotel needs your name, address, place of residence, telephone number, e-mail address, whether you are 18 years or older, day of departure and arrival and your payment details. We may receive this information from third parties with whom you have gone through the booking process. We may request additional information for the performance of our services, such as your nationality or preferences. We only process health data on the basis of your consent, in order to provide you with a better service, for example providing access for the disabled or dietary requirements. In addition, we are legally obliged to verify your identity. This data is only used internally and is not passed on to organizations for commercial purposes.

Camera Surveillance
Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland has a legitimate interest, insofar as necessary, to use camera surveillance in our hotels and restaurants, to secure its property and to protect its guests. Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland analyzes the visit to the Amadore website(s) in order to improve the functionalities of these website(s). The ‘analytics’ cookies of the American company Google are placed via our website. The data is stored by Google in the United States. The click behavior on the website is completely anonymised. If you place a reservation via the website, your booking data will be stored in the statistics of Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland. This data is used to determine the future offer of Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland. If you have indicated that you wish to receive the newsletter, your booking details can be used to personalize the content of the newsletter.

We do not share your personal data with companies, organizations and individuals outside Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland, except in one of the following circumstances.

Performance of an agreement
Disclosure of your personal data to third parties is permissible when this is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you. Part of this is processing your reservation. If it is necessary for the payment of bookings, we use a third party for processing i-Deal payments via MEWS.

With your permission
With your permission, we can pass on your personal data to other parties. The permission only applies if it is clear what you are giving your permission for and what the consequences are.

For external processing
We provide personal data to our partners so that they can process data for us, based on our instructions and in accordance with our privacy statement and other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. By our partners we mean, among other things, our IT suppliers and administrators of the CRM system.

For legal reasons
We share personal information when we believe that disclosure of the information is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process or requests from government authorities.

Legal obligation
If a legal obligation requires us to do so, we will provide your personal data. For example, it is possible that the police request data from us in the context of fraud investigations. Another example is that the tax inspector pursuant to art. 47 of the General State Taxes Act can claim all data necessary to levy taxes. Finally, the municipality can also request the provision of data to verify the tourist tax assessment. Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland makes agreements with the recipients to ensure that the personal data is treated confidentially.

5. How long we keep personal data

Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Readers’ email address for newsletter. We do not keep this. If you unsubscribe, we no longer have any data about you.
Email address, name and company when requesting a service. We remove this from our CRM system after two years.
Other information by filling in the contact form or sending an email. We do not actively store this in a file. However, it is possible that an e-mail remains in our inbox and outbox. No one, other than the owner of Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland, has access to this.

6. View, modify or delete data

You have a number of legal rights vis-à-vis us: access, correction or addition, data erasure, restriction of processing, transfer of digital data and the right to object. We explain these rights below.

Right of access
At your request, we will inform you in writing whether we process your personal data. With your request, you must identify yourself by means of a copy of (the minimum information required from) your identity document. In our response we explain which personal data we have processed about you and we will also provide you with a copy of this. We also explain for which purposes your personal data is processed and how long it is expected to be stored.

Improvement or addition
If you have received access to the processing of your personal data, you can request us to correct inaccuracies or to complete inaccuracies. If we proceed with the improvement, you will receive an additional statement from us.

Data erasure
You can request that we delete your personal data from our systems in one or more of the following cases:

– The personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we have processed it
– You withdraw your consent to processing and there is no other basis for processing
– You submit a reasoned objection and there are no compelling reasons not to honor your objection
– The personal data has been unlawfully processed by us
– We have to delete your personal data on the basis of a legal obligation.

Restriction Processing
If you have reported an inaccuracy or incompleteness in your personal data to us, you can request that we limit the processing as long as we are processing your request. You may also ask us to restrict the processing of your data if you believe that we are processing your data unlawfully or no longer need it, or if you have objected to (further) processing. After receipt of your restriction request, we will only process the data after permission has been obtained or for compelling reasons.

Transfer digital data
If you have provided us with personal data in a structured, common digital file format and we have processed your data with your consent or in the performance of an agreement with you, you have the right to request a copy of this data from us. In those cases, you can also ask us to forward your data directly to another service provider.

Objection
You may object to the processing of personal data relating to you at any time. This applies in particular to profiles that we have created on the basis of your personal data. We will cease processing your data upon receipt of your objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms.

Exercising rights
If you want to make use of one or more of your rights listed above, you can contact us via the e-mail address info@amadore.nl. Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland provides the data subject with the requested information as soon as possible. In any case, you will be given the information within one month of receiving the request. If more time is needed to process the request, Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland will let you know within one month.

7. Liability

Despite the care and attention that is paid to the management of this website, it is possible that the site contains incorrect information. Amadore Hotels & Restaurants Zeeland cannot be held liable for technical or editorial errors that appear in this website, nor for any consequential damage resulting from the use or the temporary unavailability of this website or links to the websites of third parties.
